Tropical North Queensland has two distinct seasons. Winter (May-Oct) is an idyllic period of warm temperatures, sunshine, fresh sea breezes and low humidity.

Summer (Nov-Apr) is a lush tropical period of balmy temperatures with afternoon storms which feed the magnificent waterfalls in the nearby rainforests.

"Accommodation was excellent- clean, modern and very comfortable. It was excellent value for the price we paid. We especially valued how quiet it was and it's closeness to the patrolled swimming beach. The service we received from Trish was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and she was able to give us a few "local" tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. The local supermarket even delivers."
